Event Disclaimer

I understand that participating in this event is potentially hazardous, and that I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained.

In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I assume full and complete responsibility for any injury or accident which may occur while I am traveling to or from the event, during the event, or while I am on the premises of the event.

I also am aware of and assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, effect of weather, traffic, and conditions of the road. I, for myself and my heirs and executors, hereby waive, release and forever discharge Roseville Chase Rotary Club, the event organizers, sponsors, promoters and each of their agents, representatives, successors and assigns, and all other persons associated with the event, for all my liabilities, claims, actions, or damages that I may have against them arising out of or in any way connected with my participation in this event.

I understand that this waiver includes any claims, whether caused by negligence, the action or inaction of any of the above parties, or otherwise.

I hereby grant full permission to any and all of the above parties to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, website images, recordings or any other record of this event.


 
Rules
1. The organisers reserve the right to cancel the event without notice should they consider this necessary for safety reasons.

2. Each competitor will participate on the approved course as directed by Rotary Marshalls.

3. The organisers reserve the right to reject or cancel any entry at any time.

4. The organisers reserves the right to adjust the route of the course.

5. No refunds of entry fees

6. No obstruction is to be caused to the movement of vehicular traffic.

7. Supporters must not follow competitors.

8. The only vehicles permitted to follow the event are Police and Official cars.

9. The organisers reserve the right to alter without notice any of the Race Rules which govern the event.

10. Dogs are permitted to accompany runners if they are on a lead.  Owners must keep dogs close so as not to be a risk or danger to other participants.
Course Certification
The 10km and 5km courses have been GPS measured and each course will be clearly sign posted where they diverge from each other.  It is each runners responsibility to stay on the course they have registered for.

The 10km event will start at 8:00 am.

The 5km event will start at 8:15 am and runners will be positioned at the front for the start with walkers to the rear.


Medical Emergency
In the event of a medical emergency please notify the nearest Marshall.

Marshals will be equipped with communication equipment and will request further assistance or an ambulance if necessary.

A First Aid Station manned by Officers of St John Ambulance will be located adjacent to the Finish area on Castle Cove Park.
