 General Information
  • A community fun run where serious runners are most welcome.
  • Toilets and changing facilities available at Start/Finish area
  • Free Security area provided for participants' valuables
  • Drink station is provided mid course and at the start/finish
  • The Courses are AIMS GPS measured for the 5km and 10km
  • A BBQ breakfast and refreshments will be available at the oval.

All participants will receive a event medallion and the option to get a Certificate from the Registration site. The first male and female runners in each event will receive individual trophies.

All times will be logged and published (on the day and on the Registration site) and the fastest runners in a range of age categories will be announced on the day

Registrations on Run Day Sunday 30th July 2017

Registrations will be accepted on the day but will be subject to a further late entry fee of $5 for individual entries and $10 for families. Be early, no registrations will be accepted after 7:45am on the day.

If you plan to register on the day, it is imperative that you come early to the venue at Castle Cove Park. Registration will be open from 6:45am. To assist the organisers and yourself, please:

  • Download the registration form from this website and print it.
  • Arrive at the venue with your registration form already completed, with accurate details for your credit card payment, including your 3 digit security code - without which we are unable to process your credit card payment
  • Proceed directly to the Cashiers Table for payment to be recorded.
  • Present your registration form at the Registration Tables for 10km or 5km as applicable and you will be given your Race Bib.

Chipped Bibs
We are using electronically chipped bibs and these will be mailed to all participants who register early, ie prior to Saturday July 19th. This will enable those runners to arrive at the Castle Cove Park “ready to race”, no queues to stand in. Participants who register from Saturday 21 July on will need to collect their chipped bib early on Race day.
Start Time
•    10km Fun Run – 8.00am
•    5km Fun Run & Walk – 8.10am
•    2km Family Walk – 8.15am

Those competitors who need to collect their chipped bib on Race day should allow a minimum of 30 minutes prior to race start time to collect bibs and pins before assembly at the starting line.

Event Timing
The event will be electronically time via an RF chip in each participants bib. Each participant will be individually timed as they cross the start gate and the finish gate.

Late Entries

All entries received after the close of business on Saturday 21 July will be subject to a Late Entry Fee of $5 for individuals and $10 for families.

To assist the organisers with planning for the event and the logistics of the day, you are asked to please register online well before the event. Successful online registrations will be immediately acknowledged by e-mail and registration details and receipts can be printed online.

The online registration facility will normally remain available until 24 hours before race time but registrations may be closed earlier dependant on the total numbers of entrants registering for the event.

Family Entries
As a community event we encourage participation by families, Mum, Dad, children and maybe grandparents even. If you are entering a family make sure to choose “Family” in the registration system for the first person entered. As you add further family members, the system will default to “Family”. You may enter up to six members in a single family for the one family entry fee.

Special Olympic / Disabled Entries
This registration includes a companion / carer for the entrant.
