HOW TO GET TO EL NIDO:
Located at the very north end of Palawan island, El Nido was for a time considered a remote destination. These are the ways to get to the town.

1) FLY DIRECT TO EL NIDO

Taking a plane from Manila to El Nido is the fastest and the most comfortable way to get to El Nido.
AirSWIFT is the only airlines that lands at and departs from El Nido airport. The airport is 10 minutes away from race central. Racers who are booked at Lio Resorts can avail of a big discount on regular airfare - from a P12,000 roundtrip (Manila) ticket to P9,000 plus a terminal fee.

2) FLY TO PUERTO PRINCESA. LAND TRIP TO EL NIDO.

Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines have daily flights to the Puerto Princesa International Airport. Ticket prices vary, P4,500 to 8,000+ for a round trip from Manila.

From the Puerto Princesa airport you can ride one of the many vans making the trip to El Nido (P500-700 per person).
You can also book a private van for about P6,000 so there's no need to wait for other passengers or feel cramped while sharing space with 8-9 other people.

The van ride is the fastest land transportation option to El Nido BUT, it can take 5 to 6 hours! When you arrive in El Nido your private van can drop you off at your resort. If you are in a shared van, from your drop off points hail a tricycle to get to your town resort. If you are staying at a Lio Resort, you can take a tricycle to the Ten Knots office in El Nido and a shuttle will take you the rest of the way.
