Course

The swim section (750m for Tineli Tri, 250m for Super Sprint Tri) takes place on a course parallel to the beach. The Super Sprint course swim is mainly in shoulder-deep water.
(Sprint Duathlon competitors will start with an approximate 3km run, Super Sprint competitors with an approximate 1.5km run.)
The bike course follows the Rabbit Island access road to a turning point south of the causeway, then returns for a lap of 5km. Competitors in Tineli Tri and Sprint Duathlon complete this loop four times. Competitors in both Super Sprint events complete the loop twice. The cycle section is draft-legal.
The run course combines road, grass and gravel track for a 1.25 circuit to the west of the transition area. Four laps will be completed by Tineli Tri and Sprint Duathlon competitors.
