The Nelson Triathlon and Multisport Club's mountainbike duathlons have been held at Conifer Park, Rabbit Island, since 2005.

The series is now held in the autumn, offering an off-road, competitive experience for all levels and all ages of competitor.

In 2010, there will be three races, at two-week intervals.
Race 1: Sunday April 25
Race 2: Sunday May 9
Race 3: Sunday May 23

Each race starts at 10am, with check-in and late registration 8.30am-9.30am and race briefing (compulsory) at 9.45am.

Two distances will be on offer each race day. The longer race will be run/bike/run, with a two-lap 6km run followed by a two-lap 20km bike and finishing with a 3km run. The shorter race will be similar in format, with the option of walking or running. Competitors will start with one 2km lap of walking or running, followed by one lap of the bike course (10km) and a further 2km lap of running or walking.

Online entries (click the Register Now button on this page) will be taken up until 5pm of the day before each race, with credit card or Pay at Event options. Series entries cost $50. Individual races cost $20. Discounts apply for club members and school students. There's a maximum of $70 for (families should choose the Pay at Event option at the conclusion of your registration and the amount will be adjusted prior to race day). Race day entries will not qualify for discounts and will attract an additional late entry fee.
