Riverton to Zookeepers 2011

 A multisport race with true southern flavour!!

Start in the Riveria of the South (Riverton), mountain biking along sandy beach and gravel road, into the kayak for a flat water paddle down the Oreti River, followed by a flat road run into the fabulous Zookeepers Cafe in the heart of Invercargill.

If you're not a paddler, there is the option of continuing on your bike, or putting your running shoes on for the last 7kms.

There's nothing better than finishing with a coffee at the Zoo! 
Triathlon - Bike 23km, Kayak 6km, Run 7km
Duathlon - Bike 28km, Run 7km
Bike - Bike 35km

Bike to Kayak Transition is at Ferry Road Bridge
Kayak to Run Transition is at Dunns Road Bridge

Duathlon
Bike to Run Transition is at Dunns Road Bridge

Price
$20 per person (including a coffee at Zookeepers Cafe concluding the race)

A $5 discount applies if you are a Southland Triathlon & Multisport Club member.
